DJ LOGAN SAMA LAUNCHES WWW.KEEPINITGRIMY.COM

Grime’s most renowned DJ, Logan Sama has launched his latest project, KeepinItGrimy.com.
The KIG project is something Logan Sama has been formulating for over half a decade. Since the visualisation of his radio show through YouTube videos filmed by Jamal Edwards starting in 2008 he has always strived to provide an honest portrait of the genre he loves. Since stepping away from a weekly mainstream radio show just over a year ago, he has been able to dedicate his time to building a platform that he can truly say is Grime’s. That is KeepinitGrimy.com. Already earning almost 10,000 unique visitors, KeepinItGrimy is a home for Grime. From the biggest, most recognised names playing international stage shows to the emerging talent grinding away on modern pirate radio equivalents, you can find it all here. Daily updates on Grime news, with videos and exclusive premieres of forthcoming tracks, a release and event calendar that lets you follow your favourite artist, plus regular op-ed pieces from prominent names in the scene. KIG exists as a portal for Grime fans both hardcore and novice.
To coincide with the website, KIG are committed to producing quality original content which highlights the creative process and ethos of Grime. The first focuses on one of the most pivotal creatives not just in Grime music, but in the entire spectrum of British arts, JME. Which has now hit 37,000 views JME has been impervious to the mainstream pressures and expectations of an artist and continues to create work that he chooses to share with the public rather than exploit for profit. Logan explains  “He is an example of one of the many alternative avenues open to independent artists in the modern media age and one I hope young Grime musicians follow.”
Key content you can also find on the main site ties around the interest in grime hitting the mainstream headlines frequently, since the infamous Kanye West BRIT Award performance and last minute KOKO show, which Skepta was heavily involved with, in addition to many other grime artists including Novelist, KeepinitGrimy delves deeper into the relationship the UK is developing with the US.
Additionally, within the last week there have been ‘war dubs’ launched from all sides including new ones from Skepta, Chip, Bugzy Malone, Devilman, Saskilla, Shizz, and others. You can get all the latest updates from Logan’s ‘War Report’ here which guides you through the interactions between these artists involved.
