BazSheff recently took to Soundcloud and Youtube to release not one but two brand new tracks, a grime instrumental and a Hip Hop beat. Both feature prominent use of violins, and element that BazSheff states he has “not worked on an instrumental with a lot”, experimenting with violins after being inspired by Stormzy’s new album. The grime instrumental, ‘Pain & Violins’, is somewhat piercing and the beat is slightly repetitive yet for a grime beat, it is energetic in nature.
On the other hand, the Hip Hop beat uses violins of different pitches, a bass line and higher pitched instrument, with the beat nicely arranged and switching up at regular intervals. As BazSheff describes it perfectly, it is a bit of an emotional instrumental, which he has entitled ‘Stay With Me’.
