UK songstress Courtney Bennett took to her official soundcloud to release an original RnB masterpiece featuring US rising star Doddy. The two young ladies lay down deliciously smooth vocals over a melodically poignant instrumental produced by O’Brian. The production works a treat with the combined talents of Courtney and Doddy pouring their hearts out over sweet, strings, synths and layered keys, with delicately understated percussion. Risk It All is brilliantly written, telling a story of a fight for love despite past mistakes, the odds stacked against and not wanting to get hurt again, but throwing caution to the wind and following your heart. The chorus is beautifully sung by Bennett, proving she can record killer hooks herself and able to hold her own on original tracks too. Risk It All sees Courtney and Doddy deliver their lyrics with emotive elegance and the two combined talents have the two varied styles from across the international waters married up in perfect musical partnership.
