Da Force took to their official soundcloud to release audio for the latest Dubstep banger entitled “Battlestation”. The track samples Star Wars audio soundbites and part of the melody from the OST, before launching itself into stratospherical intergalactic madness. The beats have a sauntering, jagged swing to them, hard through the speaker, slowing down the tempo, yet driving the rhythm with a menacing roll. The snares and hi hats are intricately layered, with the sawing bassline pulsating and cutting through the tracks core. The vocal samples are used almost as melodic bar openers, mixed delicately with the opening hit of the bass and adding an eeriness to proceedings.
