UK Hip Hop producer Dan Kent recruits homegrown talent Tabanacle alongside two US Rappers, Shady Records Cashis and Sean Strange of SnowGoons for this new track called “Still Here”. It’s a good look for not only Tabanacle but for Link Up TV on the visuals having such established artists from across the pond. Featuring a British Singer vocalist on the chorus adding an Urban vibe, Cashis kicks off the song over the anthemic Hip Hop beat, covering the things that his life revolves around, from the music to drugs, ladies and violence, all fit for a movie as he states, but comes down to reality with mention of lost friends. Tabancle rhymes about the long road he has got to achieve his dream of musical stardom, persevering to grab it, not letting obstacles get him down, and he adds some pain bars in the mix speak of drama, from an absent father to losing close ones, and Sean Strange closes the track with ferocious delivery, spraying hellish lyrics, attacking those that are inferior to him, who claim they do this and that, stating that he stays ruggish, Sean goes in with some incredible wordplay. Great tune, massive for the elevation of UK Hip Hop, stepping in the direction of the unity of the US and UK Rap with our scene getting recognition. Check out the smooth visuals which make use of London landmarks as a backdrop, as well as Cashis and Sean in their respective hometowns I guess.
