‘Trenches’ comes off the back of recent releases, including ‘Ring The Alarm’ featuring Brakeman, reaching the #1 position on YouTube Music’s ‘Underground Grime’ playlist, as well as receiving a spot on the ‘Ministry Of Sound’ and ‘Grime Originals’ playlists. As a tastemaker in the scene, J-Fresh has had guest mixes and radio appearances across Kiss FM, BBC Radio 1Xtra, Ministry Of Sound and Pyro Radio, receiving support from some of the biggest names in the UK, such as Charlie Sloth, DJ Target, Sian Anderson, Rickie, Melvin & Charlie plus loads more.

Clipson and Skatta also have impressive music CV’s, with Skatta building his reputation in the music industry, having recently released his new single ‘Record Box’, taken from his forthcoming album ‘Cinema Ticket’. Skatta has been supported by Grime Originals, GRM Daily and Redbull Music, and featured on TV on channels such as Sky Living with Ross Kemp, ITV and BBC News. The Coventry based rapper also appeared on Sian Anderson’s show alongside Jaykae, who went on to describe him as “one of my favourites to ever do it” complimenting his “captivating” voice.

Meanwhile, Clipson is a legend within the Grime scene, and currently a member of legendary and acclaimed group ‘Slew Dem Mafia’. A Grime veteran, Clipson has appeared on Lord Of The Mics, clashing Boy Better Know’s Jammer. He receives regular support from Grime Originals, and has had over 1.6 million streams for his track ‘Man Wanna War’!

Discussing the release, Clipson revealed that “Trenches is fast paced, certified school of grime flow and vibe type of track. Delivering the message that a lot of artists’ wasn’t there on the sets and in the studio putting that work in to reach the high levels myself and Skatta are pushing out today!”. He continues “Since linking up with Skatta & the Don J-Fresh on the Hardships EP, it was only a matter of time before we worked on something again creating similar vibes and energy. We did not disappoint with ‘Trenches’ which is sure to be ringing off on DJ’s playlist up and down the country!”
