Following her win at the recent GRM Daily Rated Awards, Birmingham MC Lady Sanity unleashes the lead track off her forthcoming EP ‘For Figures’. The track, ‘Role Models’, is an unapologetically raw offering and is about “finding inspiration in the amazing people around you in your everyday life, opposed to this unrealistic, overpriced culture that’s thrown in our faces so often.”

Chisomo Thipa produces a melodic, bass-thunderous, pounding and hypnotic trap banger, as Lady Sanity delivers brings devastation to the track with lyrics that set her apart from her competition. Authoritative is Lady Sanity as she makes it clear that she is a leader, not a follower, opting to be a go-getter, hungry to eat, hungry to for success and power as a role model.

Lady Sanity has already performed at Glastonbury Festival and is certainly one of the most exciting and passionate lyricists in the underground Birmingham Hip Hop scene at the moment. Lady Sanity’s new release ‘Role Models’ an energetic, up-tempo turn-up banger from the Birmingham lady, promoting positive moves and displaying her lyrical prowess, relenting flows and delivery, as she crushes the beat with heavyweight bars and wordplay.
