I am the official cameraman and video producer/editor for DKSTV1. I first got in to Media as a whole when I started college in 2008, enrolling on a BTEC Media First Diploma course. It wasn’t until I moved on to a BTEC National Diploma in 2009/2010 that I fully knew what it was that I enjoyed in Media.
My first full official Music Video was in 2010, I filmed and edited Death Kiss Media partner Death Kiss Squadron’s “Cold Heart” video. That is when I first found my passion and interest in making Music Videos. Not just the fact that I love music, Hip Hop to be exact, but I enjoy filming something and editing it to the music.
My first experience doing anything for UK Flow was in the internet radio days, when I edited emcee’s radio sets, with Death Kiss Squadron’s Dark Lord Negro (DLN) in the mix. Several emcee’s sets that I edited include Cyrus Da Virus, Shaduno, Ki, Supreme G, D-Bo, Fugzi and crew, Fantom (Fantz) and Tragik and Warblock.
Since then, I have produced several more Music Videos for Death Kiss Squadron, some of my favourites being “Beat Boxin”, “No Church In The Wild” remix featuring Critical, and the Death Kiss Squadron and Klass MC double “Disaster” and “Let’s Go”.
In 2012, Death Kiss Squadron and I created a new Freestyle series named #FlowZone. The idea being just simply for upcoming artists to showcase their talent for emcee’ing on the DKSTV1 channel. The first three artists to drop a #FlowZone Freestyle were Critical, Death Kiss Squadron and Klass MC, and there will whole lot more for 2013 and beyond.
Fast forward to late 2012/2013, and I am blogging for Death Kiss Mag and UK Flow Mag, so not only am I a video producer but now a blogger/journalist/researcher for UK Hip Hop/Rap, Grime and Urban.
Expect big things from Death Kiss Media and #FlowZone in 2013.
